I first came to Franklin Health & Rehabilitation Center after knee replacement surgery and I can’t say enough good things about the care I received. In fact, I’m having to undergo another knee replacement in a few months, and I’ll be going to Franklin Health & Rehabilitation Center. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.
My therapy just went incredibly smoothly, and I was able to return home in less than 30 days. My therapy started almost as soon as I walked through the door, and I had therapy twice a day, six days a week. It was a lot of therapy and was hard work, but it really payed off.
Getting that much therapy is a huge part of why I was able to get home so quickly. My LifeWorks Rehab therapists were wonderful. They were so friendly and down to earth, and they treated me just like family. The hardest part of my therapy was just getting started. It was so hard in the beginning, but it got easier and easier every day, and my therapists were incredibly encouraging. They were with me every step of the way, and made me feel like every little achievement was a huge accomplishment. I also never felt rushed or pushed when I was in therapy. My LifeWorks Rehab therapists made me feel like I had all the time in the world, and they were completely focused on helping me get better and get back home. They really took their time working with me. That kind of care is all too rare these days.
Now that I’m back home, I can’t believe how good I feel. My knee is stronger than ever, and I have absolutely no pain or trouble walking. I can do everything I need to do now. I do volunteer work at the hospital and rescue squad, and am very active. My first knee replacement went so well that I’m actually looking forward to my second one–I know I’ll be stronger that ever. I’m also looking forward to seeing all of the friends that I made at Franklin Health & Rehabilitation Center. You know LifeWorks Rehab has got to be good if I’m choosing to go back a second time–it just works!
